Announcing Flashcast

By Adam Siegel on October 15, 2019

We're excited to announce the availability of a new product, Flashcast

Flashcast is an entirely new way to interact with your audience. Ask them to make predictions about a related topic and watch live as the results get compiled in to a "crowd" prediction.

We built Flashcast for:

  • Educators: Use Flashcast in your classroom to ask for thought provoking predictions about the future related to your lecture topic
  • Presenters: Create a unique shared experience with your audience, asking them to make predictions and contrast their beliefs with others
  • Managers: Get a quick tally in a meeting of what people think is going to happen with this month's sales, meeting a deadline, or if Ben will fall asleep again at the next all-hands meeting.

For example, I used Flashcast this weekend to ask a few of my friends how the Illinois vs. Michigan football game was going to turn out. We've also been using it in meetings to predict how this Flashcast launch was going to go!

Flashcast is still in beta, so you may encounter a few rough edges and we have a nice list of features we're already plugging away on. But in the meantime, we'd love for you to try out Flashcast (especially while it's free!) and send us any feedback you have.
